dance210:   Trevz is off today, so I'm going to take this, as I scheduled the battles on Friday.   1. He is neither confused nor wrong. He was giving the general overview of how this tournament works - which is that 16 teams move on to Thursday and Friday. He also mentions that if teams are tied at the 16th position that all teams move forward.   2. There is no way to exactly split 17 teams so that all teams have the same number of battles after two rounds. Sadly, it seems as though C.D.E drew the short straw for our random seeding and ended up with two less matches. While that is unfortunately, it shouldn't prevent that team from performing well and winning   3. All your questions assume that there is some sort of seeding; there is not. Random means that sometimes things like this happen - especially when there is an uneven number of teams.   Good luck tonight!
