organized nobody really knows what is going on, with teams dropping
out and make up rounds, the most basic record keeping is
compromised. Rather than admitting their mistakes and poor
management, we just need to play every team TWICE to fix their
record keeping issues. Nothing to do with trying to match
the length of the season to Bronze or Open Leagues, not about
giving everyone a fair playing ground. we just need to play more to
cover up the incompetency of tournament managements.dance210: Playing each team twice was planned from the beginning. The
Silver league has fewer teams, and has ended earlier than the other
leagues. This change was made to extend the season, giving all
teams more battles. The hope was to allow teams more experience
before hopefully moving up to the Gold league. As Yoott mentioned,
captains were informed that the season would play until the end of
August. Just because the full schedule was posted does not mean
that teams shouldn't have expected to play for the entire summer.
The plans on what to do if a team was DQed, or in the case
of the Silver league opted to leave the league before the Tech
Defeats started, was posted before the season started. I'm not
entirely sure what a DQed team has to do with faulty record
keeping. The few times that a battle was missed, I noticed it and
fixed it on our end even before players mentioned it. You
are correct that we changed the match ups to remove the missing
teams. The theory was that y'all would prefer to play and not have
byes because of missing teams; if this is indeed the case, then in
the future we will leave those extra byes in for the entire season.
