{lang:macro__view_post}Dogzman, on Mar 16 2014 - 19:10, said: Cool looking tournament format, although maybe a bit complex. Will be interesting to see how this goes down.   Couple questions:   Like Moguai asked above I am curious as to what % the weekly prizes are based on: a) Is it against your possible points earned? i.e. if everyone loses at least 1 game in a group with 8 games (24 possible points)  no first is given out since the highest score would 21 points (87.5%) b) is it against your group? (i.e. the top 10% of point earners in your group win 1st) c) is it against everyone  (i.e. the teams who scored the top 10% of scores based on points earned/points possible of every team that participated)   Also, about the returning 6 member rule(s).   So you have 10 people on a team the first week. The 2nd week you come back with 6 players from the first week, and 4 new players. Now on the third week who are the 6 that need to return, is it the ORIGINAL team, or the team that participated in the latest week? Can I bring 6 people from the original week's team that may not have been on the 2nd week into the 3rd week and it count as a returning 6? Or is it the opposite, can a team switch out players as much as they want as long as at least 6 people come from the prior week?

dance210:   Hopefully, most of the complexity will be on our end. Teams just need to worry about keeping the same team name and at least 6 players...we'll take care of updating standings and who played where, when :)   The correct answer to which teams make up the top 10% is c). It is the top 10% of all the teams across all groups. That percent is determined based off the points earned vs. total points possible in that group. This will account for different group sizes.   The overall standings and overall prizes are calculated the same way, just across multiple weeks.   The returning 6 members are based off the first week that the team participates. So you can bring your returning 6 players plus four additional players to week 2. For week 3, you again bring 6 returning players plus four additional players; however, those 6 players do not all have to have played in week 2. Of course, the 6 is the minimum that needs to return; teams can keep the same 10 players throughout all the weeks if they wish.   Let me know if y'all have any more questions!
