Victory!
Battle: Ruinberg Friday, January 25, 2013 11:57:58 PM
Vehicle KV-1
Experience received: 1492
Credits Received: 30,294
Battle Achievements: Kolobanov's Medal, Crucial Contribution, De Langlade's Medal, Radley-Walters's Medal, Steel Wall, Top Gun, Invader, Defender, Master Gunner.
1492 exp / 15 (premium) = 99.467 exp points
totals points with medals/damaged tanks = 141.467 (10 damaged tanks)
I missed the min exp points by 8 experience  It seems the way the min exp points are set up heavily favors the highest tiers in the brackets... being a tier 5 and getting 1000 base exp is much different than being in a tier 7 and getting 1000.
Hope I'm wrong and can submit this one!

dance210: Far as I know, KV-1 is Tier 5, so the minimum experience needed is 100, not 150. Which means you should be good, once the MVP points where added to your base XP :)

I have just got this.
As the pop up I have Confe + Steel Wall + Sniper = 9 MVP point?
And because Im just a Standard Account so 2.398 / 2 = 1.199 EXP (maximum)
I want to submit to hardcore mode.
how could I calculate Dmg tanks (10 and killed 4) and Spotted tanks (7)  ???
Can Mod recorrect for me, so I can submit to the Contest, or can I submit in this topic?

dance210: 1. Submissions need to be emailed to events@worldoftanks.com, not posted on the forums.
2. Ignore tanks killed. So, taking your 9 points from the achievements, your calculations should be:

Damage = 20 MVP (2/tank); spotted = 7 MVP (1/tank)
Base XP: 2,398/2 = 1199/10 (don't forget to divide by 10 for standard!) = 119.9
   Total: 119.9 + 20 + 7 + 9 = 155.9

dance210: Because you need to submit your screenshots and calculations to events@worldoftanks.com; there is no submission thread :)

Beerstein said: So 1 mvp point counts as 1 exp? I don't get it. What wins? More MVP points or more Exp? Or one first then the other if tie, or are mvp points worth a certain amount of xp? What exactly is our goal? I can get 5 medals with bad exp but does that matter without the exp? I can get a lot of exp with 3 medals...honestly I have no clue what we're trying to achieve...

dance210: Like Major said, the goal for hardcore is to add your total MVP points for all achievements/damaged/spotted to your base XP for hardcore submissions.
The goal is to have above the minimum XP scores as posted in the news article. As far as I can tell, that means for hardcore, you can have 5 medals with a bad base XP or only 3 medals but a really good base XP.
For casual, you need a really good base XP since you don't add anything for any points for medals, tanks damaged/spotted.  Does this help make it more clear for you?
