announcement; GeneralDirection acknowledged that and fixed it. I'm
sure they will gather the community feedback for the future, but
frankly, they are free to run their events as they see fit. I'm
looking forward to the changes, as soon as one of my tanks come up
on the rotation 
As for picking a community manager, I imagine it's like any other job. A position was open, resumes were reviewed, interviews were conducted and a new person was hired.
