Tier 9 -- is it the best Tier overall?

churchill50: In my opinion it is, for several reasons:+1/-2 MM is rather nice. There's not as large a power difference between most tier 9s and most tier 10s as there is between some other tiers, so even bottom tier you're fine. There aren't as many of the glaring balance issues at tier 9 as there are at tier 8 and 10.  Overall, the tier is rather well balanced. There are a few tanks that are too strong, and a few that are too weak. But overall, most tier 9s are rather good tanks. There's a wide range of playstyles. Good superheavies, heaviums, paper meds, a good array of light tanks, etc. Everyone can find a tank that fits their playstyle at tier 9. It's not as expensive as tier 10. Lower costs overall, plus you don't need anywhere near as much premium ammo. And it's high enough tier that you don't get as many newbies as lower tiers do.  So, overall, tier 9 is my favorite tier.
