Anti-AFK/Leeching Detection?

Дата: 05.05.2011 15:31:17
Quote And to others out there, we're not complaining about someone who afks one map, we're talking about people who set up their computer to join battles over and over again for hours on end while they do something else. Those people need a good, solid, and permanent ban.

Vallter: And they receive it.
Also for there was no battle, in which I could not do anything. Moderators have stated some good tactics. I suggest you to listen to them.
And yes, I'm playing M3 Lee.

Quote I am not familiar with how the anti bot system is supposed to work - isn't that something coming in the big patch? In any case, I can't see how a system run by the servers can actually work. It's an activity that is very hard to detect unless you are actually watching the person doing it for a long while. Also, I don't understand some of the people that make claims of never seeing someone AFK in thousands of matches. I see it several times a day at least. Maybe it's because I don't always rush off to a new vehicle when i die, but instead I watch the remainder of the match and tab between all my surviving team mates.

Vallter: There is one semi-automatic system up and running. In 0.6.4 it will receive just some new features.
Also in mentioned patch automatic Anti-TK system will be enabled (we use semi-automatic now, and it does not seem severe enough)
