The only thing I remember being somewhat close to this was I did remind players that the Premium Store's Description was correct the entire event and that it's generally not something that one should skip over reading. If the article was wrong, but the Premium Store description was correct, players may have noticed the error earlier.
I don't recall saying "You should have re-read the article" or any of that sort that players should have gone back to the article.
