My husband and our neighbor started playing WoT in early 2015 and
tried really hard to get me to play too. I always thought they
played the stupidest and most boring games (they still play
different games every weekend). Then finally I decided to try,
didn't tell them until I was probably at tier 3 or 4 and of course
they made me platoon with them and somehow I ended up being their
arty helper. I played on and off, still mostly arty even without
them. Then in late 2019 I got an idea to start live streaming my
gameplay. It started really slow since I hadn't really interacted
with the community, but now I have made so many friends! I'm also
somewhat known for being a moderator for three CC's on Twitch:
Claus Kellerman, WarChild and Oranjoman.
One day I hope to drive a real tank and maybe destroy a car with one too... Either by crushing or shooting it, both would be fun!

forward. To world of tanks, I saw this interesting commercial
about a new racing game. Suddenly a car slams into a tank,
and then I was like wow I can blow stuff up. When the game
started there were only 3 countries that you could play, now there
are 11 countries and well over 432 tanks, which is how many I have
right now...lol. I started playing world of tanks in November
2011, and have been playing ever since. It is my go to game
for relaxing after work. I'm not the best player in the world
and I don't care about stats. What I care about is having
fun. I have made a lot of friends playing this game and the
streaming community for world of tanks is absolutely amazing.
I started streaming world of tanks the end of November 2020 and
have made a lot more friends since then. My husband and my
son both play as well and we have a small family clan in the
game. If anyone wants to check me out I stream on twitch
at https://www.twitch.tv/bwblackmoth. Which is
where we all hang out at Blackmoth's Bar and Grill. Hope to
see you there.

going to tell you a little bit of my story. I started playing
because of my fiance. He loves the game and has been playing since
2015. His passion is due to his profession, he is Commander of
Tanks in the Brazilian Army and works with Leopard tanks. As the
passion for the game was great to compete (kk), I end up joining
him and whenever I can, we play as a platoon. I am evolving little
by little and I already have my level 8, despite the short game
time. Hugs!

TragicLoss: I know that sometimes hesitation can come from skepticism, but I'm
very happy you were open to giving it a shot on your own time
. Thank you for sharing and I'm so
happy that you found your own space (streaming) to invest your time
into.

TragicLoss: Haha, yeah! We've definitely had some... interesting commercials to
say the least (Tiny Houses anyone?). Seeing so many women and girls
who connect with their male friends/significant others/family
members really makes me hope that other men will see the joy in
sharing hobbies with their lady friends/significant others/family
members even if it may not entirely fit with their interests. I
know plenty of people who have found new hobbies and now share more
interests and togetherness because of not just videogames, but
others as well.

TragicLoss: That's awesome! I'm glad you both found a way to spend quality time
together that makes you both happy and shares something in common
with his passion and profession! I hope you both continue to find
more ways to spend time together and connect with one another. It's
important to have things in common while also having passions of
your own!
