You can verify this yourself by going to the VA website and looking at the login options. We in WG do not receive any of the personal identification information you send to ID.me. All they tell us is veteran status, and an account number.to prevent duplication. That's it. If you're still reluctant to verify with ID.me (and there are other methods than SSN) that's fine, but be sure you're doing it for the right reasons.
