Planes, Trains and T110s

The_Chieftain:   It would help if they made good cars. I note that GM is keeping the good sellers, such as the Camaro, the  CTS and ATS, all of which are excellent. I mean, look at the list of the six cars they're killing off. Is anyone going to miss the XTS or LaCrosse, really? And when you look at the really high end, Who,  really, was going to buy the CT6 over the equivalent German vehicles? (And the answer is only under 10,000 folks a year. Indeed, of the six, only two sold more than 20,000, and only one over 50,000, the Cruze, which also has the lowest profit margin). When I turned in my Passat Diesel earlier this year, I really wanted to replace it with a Caddy. The wife wouldn't let me get the CTS, unfortunately, so I took a look at the  CT6 (And the Continental). Even if I could afford a new one (Which I couldn't, after a quick glance), look at the German competitors in the same price range. If I were spending that dollar value, it would probably go to Audi. We ended up getting a used 5-series.
