I know a good bit towed/sp artillery pieces used AP vs a bunker and such. But I wonder if it was ever used vs a a mobile vehicle in a indirect firing mode (It could be mobile/stationary during the time.)    Because even a row of towed/SP arty I suppose should be lucky to even get a direct hit.   I am not saying: Put the Tiger II in T5 so it can fight M4 Shermans.

The_Chieftain:   Not to my knowledge. At best, semi-indirect, but any instances I can think of off the top of my head involving artillery pieces firing AP at tanks have been in direct fire mode at close range (AKA shotgunning, in WoT terms) as a sort of last defense.
