T110's Northern Migration

The_Chieftain:   Note that it retains the cranes for the external tracks. This is one of those more rare instances of my getting what I push for, a replacement of the T28 we came up with by a more reality based early concept of T28 using as a basis the measurements I found for the 8” hull casting and an early sketch of the vehicle. We decided to implement it without the tracks firstly to provide a visual distinguisher, and secondly, to keep the vehicle lighter, for better mobility. Initially it was also going to be differentiated from T95 by a higher top speed working off the alternate supplied gearing ratio, but since they zoomified the doom turtle by use of the same gearing ratio, i’m not sure that will any longer be a factor.   Another trip to Bovington coming up. May prove to be my last for quite a while. Any requests for ITCH? And, no, not Tiger 131. Also a little miffed I didn’t not get accepted for the Army course I was trying for. Apparently my PT score is too low for a planning course, and they wouldn’t mind if I had more division level experience.  Nevada doesn’t have a division...
