have taken any carrier into Random, or other ships into Random, the
whole carrier "meta" in PvP is a dumpster fire anyway... both
players send their entire air wing as far around the outside as
they can, looking for the opposing CVs, and hoping to avoid their
planes being spotted at all... they either go opposite ways and
then bomb each other without intercept because their fighters are
all "escorting", or they go to the same side and there's a giant
mess of a fighter engagement that some of the bombers slip
through. In both PvE and PvP, the typical carrier
driver is so bad at providing fighter cover that it's my rule for
any ship with even decent AA to get a captain with both BFT and
AFT, and take the AA defense boost expendable if it
can. They typical carrier driver is so bad at fighter
cover that I've "farmed" multiple +karma in a single match, more
than once, just by entering a Co-op match with an air-superiority
loadout and shooting down most of the bot carrier's air wing.
On the Hipper versus the NO, I've said before that I don't
see a single reason to take the NO over the Hipper. The
Hipper has better armor, better guns, some torpedoes, a more
effective AA coverage, and so on. This isn't to say the
Hipper needs nerfs, but rather to point out how lackluster the NO
is. The_Chieftain: The carrier snipe technique tends to fall away at Tier VIII
and up. I won't say you'll never see it, but it usually takes so
long to do two or three waves to do it (Only rarely will you kill a
CV on the first strike), that by ignoring the rest of the battle,
you've hosed your team.

anyone is looking for a career that pays well this might be just
the ticket.The_Chieftain: As someone with a pilot's license already, I have paid
attention to this long-anticipated problem. After all, higher-end
pilots get paid more than I do at WG. However, until the feeder
airlines start paying more than $30k as a starting salary, there is
no way in hell that I'm doing that career change in my 40s with
offspring. http://www.ainonline...gional-airlines
