immediately before then was all about the campaign. Answering
in the 'swing' of things, I am not surprised that he would have
responded in that capacity. And it's not as if it was a
behind-the-scenes 'phone call, like Flynn, the Russian met him in
his office, where it was duly logged. If you're going to
deliberately lie, it's a pretty stupid thing to lie about something
publicly done. I suspect he'll be best off recusing himself from
the investigation anyway, but no need for more.
