The_Chieftain:   Not a chance. The US military did not need force multipliers. It already was winning pretty much every military engagement it was involved in. What technology cannot do is build relationships and trust with people, and in Vietnam, Iraq, etc, the people were the center of gravity to fight over, not the hardware or military manpower. You need to have enough troops on the ground to be able to do that, and they have to be well trained enough to hold their own.   speaking of, watched Jadotville last night. Not bad.
