The_Chieftain:   Although B took a lot of flak and visibility (Reasonable enough), I think A is the real reason. Indeed, I'm not even going to say that GB's reboot was a bad movie. Much like the Robocob reboot was actually a pretty good movie. But the thing the two have in common is that they were rebooting what were damned good movies to begin with, which didn't need rebooting and of the few who believed that the reboots could actually be better, I'll wager that a good portion simply didn't want to dilute the original damned good movie and the fond/cult memories they have. The movie isn't failing because nobody wants to see women. It's failing because nobody wanted to see a remake. I would lay money that a sequel, not a reboot, would have done much better.  

The_Chieftain:   My Gearing is a scout. I will only engage with guns either (a) at very long range against weak targets to start fires, or (b) if I happen to run across something I heavily outgun at close (6km or less) range, like a lower tier DD, or a Shimakaze. I stay clear of Soviet DDs, and light them up for something bigger and further away to shoot at. Otherwise, I lob torps. I can get close, usually, but I am constantly amazed as to how many BB drivers I hit with the things. I got a 450k credit game yesterday, nailing anything from North Carolinas to Yamatos who don't seem to take any form of precautions or react even to the first salvo.
