The_Chieftain: No, there are no discussions in the office about Chieftain being a CW reward tank. (Except mockingly so, just debating how much rage would result).   The Cromwell B is, I think, the only example we have in the game of a premium vehicle being as good as its researchable counterpart. I agree it doesn't break the game, as it's no worse than having an additional researchable one on the battlefield, but I also suspect it may depend a little bit on the tiering. A premium in-game M26 equal to researchable (Thick turret, 105mm, etc) would likely make other Tier VIII premiums redundant and become the go-to tank for many people, putting quite a few in the MM queue.
