you're getting focus fired all the time? The_Chieftain: Bit of an assumption there, isn't it? I get enjoyment out of
winning, and I've noticed that my win rate when I play a Sheriff
account is usually a little higher than when I play one of my own
accounts. I can only assume that people are so focused on killing
me, they forget that the object of the game is, for most people, at
least, to win. The further challenge when they're gunning for me is
to make sure it's not easy for them and that they deserve the kill.
Double my fun! I more want to play the game, be it in random
pubs, or as a CW player in a clan (Most of whom don't know who I
am), which I can't do as an identified WGA employee due to
perception issues. There are times I just don't want to be
answering questions from people who recognise me in game varying
from "When's Patch X coming out?" to "Why are they nerfing Tank Y",
or even just people saying "Thanks for making the tank videos". I'm
too polite to ignore them, but as you may have observed for
yourself, it's impossible to type and play at the same time. More
than once have I ended up doing something stupid because I was
typing.
Quote without forcing the user to have even a modicum of skill required to do it on even terms.
The_Chieftain: Are they even terms? you claim artillery focuses heavily
upon you. Your win rate indicates you come out the better of the
deal. Assuming that a portion of artillery players have at least a
modicum of skill, there's a flaw in the logic. You don't
-enjoy- being the target of artillery. I got that. That's a
separate issue (Not necessarily less important, but separate) to
the question of how well artillery works at what it's supposed to
do.
