After all--these places exist in reality; if you do it correctly, they should still exist... But I was told to sod off, more or less. :l If you're comfortable with the idea of paying for software, Kaspersky is really good.
The_Chieftain: He does, indeed. I'm on military leave. Today's
class: C510 JOPP Step 1 Planning Initiation, Operational
Design, and JIPOE I have no idea how I'm supposed to
remember any of this. And the amount of staffs, cells, working
groups and boards is ludicrous.

The_Chieftain: Problem is that the places exist in reality in an
environment with.... infantry, which they are all designed to
support in varying degrees. Infantry in Steel Beasts is, I think,
very well done. You can't control them beyond things like "go here"
or "occupy that house." If caught in the open, they are sitting
ducks. But get too close to a house, or hang around in woods, and
the things are absolutely vicious. This makes vehicles like IFVs
and APCs far more lethal overall than they would be with just their
20mm cannon, without having to do the stupid circle-of-death thing
which I don't recall ever seeing in SB. (Not least, because one
penetrating hit will usually kill you)
