but yes... at the time that the Type was removed from sale, it
was probably a touch OP. The problem is... it isnt anymore. Its
gone from OP to "Eh its a good tank". Its been slowly power creeped
away from OP. And now all Wargaming is doing by keeping it
perma-rare is milking the fact that people still believe its OP. If
it were sold... people would see just how not OP it is anymore. Its
practically impossible to get, unless you have art talant, are
really good at the game (in which case you probably own it
already), or are lucky enough to win a contest. And thats just
stupid. IS-7 in AW? That would be cool.The_Chieftain: That's why I said "reputation of", not "is/was" I fully believe
that the Type does not deserve the reputation that it has.
The problem is more pragmatic. Let's say we were to put Type 59 on
sale on December 24th, even for one day only. What would matches
look like when you clicked 'Battle' on your T32 or IS-3 on
Christmas morning? It's got nothing to do if the tank is good, it's
got everything to do with how many people would buy the bloody
thing. At least, in my humble opinion.
