The_Chieftain:   Outside of a couple of inches of ground clearance, not all that relevant with powder on road, I'm not seeing much advantage.   i go over the Sierras several times every winter, and I'm no fan of stopping to put on chains in the cold weather and snow. I'm equipped accordingly.
