The_Chieftain:   In fairness to Weber, even he admits Harrington's gotten about as far as he can go with her. She was supposed to originally get killed off a couple of books ago. However, in the recent books, they're focusing more on other characters instead of herself. I'm waiting for the next one based on Travis Long's exploits. (Manticore Ascendant, back when Haven were good guys, and before Manticore became big)

The_Chieftain:   Correct. I state this specifically in the next ITCH.

The_Chieftain:   I never expected it to. Still, we'll be coming back to this in a bit.

The Chieftain looks sexy as hell but it saddens me how good it looks compared to the freak of a T110E5 with its disfigured cupola. And there is no M60A1 to give the top tier US some sexy.

The_Chieftain:   I don't recall any such thought. I did discuss it with Minsk a bit, as there was the variant with the T123E3 cannon which had a bore exacuator and no muzzle brake, but it was never to replace the current T34.   Speaking of, had another chat with them about Tortoise. Confirmed that the stowage compartment lids are basically sheet metal, but the upper side skirt panels are about a 1/2 inch thick and apparently steel. In the meantime, I've nudged them about the Cummins again, but we're still no closer to any change as we still have the same problem In response to the earlier hypothetical, no, nothing is stopping you from coming up with an unsourced web page and making a claim. Witness the "Wolverine" silliness, which we aren't changing. Char-Francais is not responding to inquiries, it seems, as an aside.
