The_Chieftain:   This issue is part of the current course of study for junior field grade officers in the Army. (I just had it a couple months ago). Just how much does doctrine, strategy and equipment rely on each other, and on resources?   What was the doctrine for tank use created for the procurement guys came up with the first tank? Sometimes, in revolutionary cases, I submit that procurement probably does have an effect on doctrine.
