Why do arty players drown themselves more than any other class of drivers?

The_Chieftain: Two reasons, probably. Firstly, as mentioned, they're more likely to be the lone survivor to drown in the first place. Secondly, they have a terrible chance of getting to do any damage in close combat due to reaction time,the reload time, and accuracy in direct fire. In other words, there's little chance of achieving anything.   not that I condone drowning, I always try and to see if I can get one last good hit in anyway, even if it's unlikely.
