one too. What else might it be? Edit: could it possibly be
an old picture of when the US had tank companies in Germany? The
camo scheme looks really similar to what I've Leopards 2A5s use.
The_Chieftain: It was more a satirical comment. Pretty much the vast
majority of the US Army's equipment is painted desert sand.
Strykers are some of the few exceptions. That convoy that went from
Lithuania through a bunch of countries to Germany? See the colour
of the accompanying HMMWVs and LMTVs? The tanks and Bradleys sent
to Latvia late last
year? http://archive.armytimes.com/article/20141016/NEWS08/310160047/U-S-soldiers-tanks-train-Eastern-Europe-show-Russia-NATO-will-hold-line
Yep, desert yellow. They're they're long enough that it's snowing
heavily, desert yellow. http://newsinfo.inqu...ope-general The Bradley training
in Hungary with BTR-80s I posted earlier, desert yellow. Tanks
return to become pre-positioned equipment in Germany.. guess what
colour is being
offloaded? http://www.military.com/daily-news/2014/02/03/american-tanks-return-to-europe-after-brief-leave.html
Yep, desert yellow. Plus, we're not allowed to use real
foliage for concealment in training exercises (annoys
environmentalists when we break off tree branches, apparently), I
honestly think the US military has decided to hell with visual
camo.
