wasn't stopped for being a suspect in the robbery. She does
seem to semi-correct herself on Brown and Wilson being the same
size (Brown was an inch taller and 80 lbs heavier).
However, right away, she claims that Wilson's testimony indicates
that Brown was running away when we was shot -- but that's not what
Wilson was talking about in the highlighted section. There
were more than 6 eyewitnesses, see previously linked Witness
10. There was more than one autopsy performed. Her
overall tone isn't one of fact-finding, but case-making.
Of course, that seems to be the problem from all sides in
this case -- too much case-making, not enough fact-finding.
The_Chieftain: I've seen the 'gun not tested for fingerprints' thing
elsewhere as well. Obviously she didn't read the testimony of the
officer who said "We can test for DNA or for fingerprinting, but
not both, as the test for the one destroys the other. This is why
we made the choice to test for DNA and not fingerprints"
There's also no way in hell that the shell casings from
Wilson's sidearm travelled 150 feet. She's looking at the distance
from Brown to Wilson's car. Idiot journalism student.
