The_Chieftain: Our general policy is, indeed, that we earn the XP for our own tanks. Look at my profile, Rampage's, Propoganda's, Pizza's, or anyone else from this office.    On occasion, additional "Unlock-all" accounts are created for us, especially as new employees, they are usually (not always) preceeded by "WG_" So, for example, back in the days before I had earned my Tier X on my Chieftain account, I used the WG_The_Chieftain for playing in events. They expire after a while. Once we've earned our higher tanks, we no longer have as much use for special event accounts.   I'm not going to speak specifically as to this account, as I'm not in a position to know the background.
