The_Chieftain: At OBC, I was in the gunner's hole for an engagement.   "red 1, Charlie niner two. You have a gunner's primary sight failure. Close your ballistic doors, defend your position. Out"   so, I close the ballistic doors, go to the GAS.   Service one target.... "Obscuration... Obscuration..." TC pipes up. "Gunner, sabot, PC" "Cannot identify... Obscuration" "it's right in front of you" I take my head away from the GAS, look up at the TC, who I can only see below the name tag. "I can't see the bloody thing until the dust dies down down here" "From my position. On the way" ... "red one, Charlie 92. Report to the tower...."
