The_Chieftain: I'm in Moscow. Never guess what I'm doing here...   I have little to add to the M3 thread. By putting the 75mm dummy into the turret, it made a passable command vehicle for units equipped with Shermans. You thus had a nice big vehicle with lots of room inside for commandy things, whilst still looking somewhat like all the rest of the unit's vehicles from a distance.
