After CW ended, I decided to go drink many alcohols. I woke up with
my pants covered in mud, dust and dog hair. The police
station has my phone (and they kindly e-mailed me to tell me they
have it) All of my alcohols are gone and my new roommate
just told me to enjoy the place because she's going for a vacation
in China. I am trying to piece together what in the
[edited]happened but I think at some point, I decided to walk out
of my current accommodations, got unbelievably lost in my own
neighborhood, cried, found a dog, found the dog's owner and begged
somebody to drive me home because I was so lost. As I type,
my memories are coming back to me. I think I met a homeless woman
and gave her my lighter. I then met a crack-head and we went for a
walk in the park. Crack head said he was cold, so I gave him my
coat and scarf. I think that's where I lost my phone.
And then at some point of my encounter with either "man with dog",
"hobo with my jacket", I lost ma phone. It all makes perfect
sense now. The_Chieftain: Well, if we're doing life updates... My lease was up
for renewal. The prices were basically "sign up for 12 months, or
get out". I argued them down to a somewhat more reasonable number
for a five-month, but I had a look at my schedule. I'm averaging
one night in three in San Francisco over the next three months,
it's cheaper for me to just pay for hotels near the office than to
rent out a place while divorce proceedings continue and I can buy a
new house. I'll revisit my situation in September. This, of
course, is also terminating any progress I've made in my dating
life. Almost all those one-nights-in-three are weekday nights (i.e.
I leave Sat morning, return following Sun evening), so daytrips
with a lass are all but impossible. I expect to be back at '0
possibilities, 0 progress' by September.
