Janusz_Sobieski, on Feb 23 2022 - 20:04, said: Well Ukraine isn't exactly unaligned. " Ukraine became
an
enhanced opportunity partner of NATO in 2020,
which allowed for more information sharing and access to exercises
with the organisation. "Finland also has that status, and it's
probably the most capable and significant non-member partner of the
alliance," Charap said. Current President Volodymyr
Zelenskyy
reiterated this month that Ukraine's
intention to become a member is "enshrined in the constitution
(and) it remains unchanged"."
https://www.euronews...coming-a-member Guess I'm not
so stupid. No, but a good part of it was part of Russia, or
don't you know about the Partition of Poland which had the nation
disappear for over 100 years? And since Putin is keen on
revisionist history, you think he's going to care? Why do you
think Stalin invaded Poland from the East in '39? As
'peacekeepers' (as Stalin said) or reclaim what was part of Russia
prior to WW I?
TeriyakiTanker: Yes you are extremely stupid because the Ukraine is absolutely not
aligned with NATO and is not a member of NATO in any way shape or
form. Which means that no NATO country is under any treaty
obligation to defend the Ukraine which is why Russia is basically
free to do what they want with the Ukraine. So yeah you seem
pretty stupid actually.
