Why do Some Argue Against Skill Based MM?

an easier way someone mentioned a long, long time ago (can't remember who) was to total up team PRs and only put two teams together in battle that were within +/- 15% of each other, similar to what WG used to do for tank MM weights. So if you were on a crap team you'd likely be matched up against another crap team, or at worst a slightly above average team. let's say there are four teams in the queue total PRs of 60k, 65k, 70k, and 75k, you could have either 60k vs 65k and 70k vs 75k, or 60k vs 70k and 65k vs 75k, but not 60k vs 75k. Either wait for a suitable team to come along or send them in as is if the wait is too long, just like they did with MM weights.
TeriyakiTanker: I'm guessing that wouldn't appease the SBMM crowd, and I don't
think it would really change anything. I think what bothers me
the most about these threads are that everyone already knows WG
isn't going to implement SBMM and the total ignoring of the data
you have compiled over the years. What do you think of ranked
as a SBMM system?
