Why do Some Argue Against Skill Based MM?

TeriyakiTanker: Well considering that isnt what I asked about its a bit of a straw man, but unlike you I will answer your question.  That is exactly why I think SBMM wouldn't work in this game if implemented in that way.  But again I am going to ask my original question, which is simply if they have 2 teams and you switch some players around to obtain better balance, what is the evidence to suggest that this would increase wait times?  A very simple question, not sure why you and trakks are incapable of answering the question.
