Ironically, it is the purples who seem to be the ones demanding SBMM because they don't like having to play with muppets, but if they actually got what they are demanding, all those muppets would go away, but because the pool of available players is now much smaller, it would be harder to get matches at all. It would be the lower skilled players who derive the most benefit from SBMM, not the higher skilled ones who are asking for it, because now they won't be food for unicums and seal clubbers anymore. They will be playing on a level playing field, while unicums and seal clubbers won't be playing at all. You can't just eliminate the majority of players from the matchmaking pool, and still expect to get matches as fast as you did previously. They don't even have to try it to know it will happen. The math is what proves it.
