This is the results from the full spectrum of the 'random' mm we have.  Meaning that you see some battles with 21% chance to win, some battles with 53% chance to win, some battles with 71% chance to win, etc.  The full spectrum of what random creates.  NOW IF YOU JUST LOOK AT WHAT HAPPENS BETWEEN 40-59% - YOU CAN SEE WHAT SBMM will do.  Let me say that again, some people have a hard time getting this.  If you just look at the battle in the 40-49% and 50-59% chance to win brackets - that is looking at exactly what sbmm would do = create nothing but balanced matches. - - So, if Buttknuckles premise of 'sbmm will drive both a 45% player and a 50% player to 50% THEN what you should see in the results above is (no matter what the overall win rate is), the win rate FOR JUST THE 40-49% AND 50-59% SHOULD BE 50% (or at least super close). - What is reality.  Reality is SBMM DOES NOT FORCE A PLAYER TO 50%.  The overall win rate for the full spectrum of win chance is 56.30%.  The win rate for 'just the 40-49% and 50-59% is 56.90%. WRAP YOUR HEADS AROUND THE FACTS: SBMM DID NOT MAKE MY WIN RATE DROP!!! - Just to verify, here is the math: (538) 40-49% battles + (604) 50-59% battles = 1,142 balanced battles.  I won (261) 40-49% + (389) 50-59% = 650 battles.  This is a (650/1,142) 56.9% win rate.  - The problem with every troll who keeps trying to defend random mm is they can't get past the 'feeling' they know what 'should' happen.  On the surface, Buttknuckles premise of 'sbmm will drive both a 45% player and a 50% player to 50% 'FEELS' correct.  But the DATA proves otherwise.....  

TeriyakiTanker:   Look, I don't usually bother replying to known liars like you but feel free to pull your head out and realize that pub matches are like pick up games and organized play is for competitive play.  It isn't complicated if you want SBMM than utilize what is already in the game.  Dirt bag stat padders like you get bent out shape because you cant pad at anything above tier II.  That's the real bottom line.
