That sounds like plenty of room for a arty to drop shots close enough to you, to hit you with splash.
Especially since you said you took several hits, they probably weren't direct hits.

So, a player can not "hack their client" on their computer, to gain a advantage, because the client doesn't handle anything important.
The only real hacks that have ever appeared are player made mods, that tweak some graphics settings, such as the tracer cheat, which made the tracers stay on the screen longer, and a bright fluorescent colour. That player made mod was considered a advantage, and thus a cheat, and the tracers were removed until they were reworked more securely.

Twice...Forgot the name of map we were playing on, it was a city map. The one with most buildings and the only open areas are the railyards and in the middle. He was playing arty and so was I. So, I camped at our base not being spotted the whole time. No enemy tank was near me. He was other side camping at their base. After I set up, then all of sudden I get shot. After getting shot, I moved to behind the building and he aimed perfectly at me the whole time. Keep in mind I was not spotted. I was like What the hell, I was behind the building and I moved... He still aimed perfectly at me and shot me... He only missed once after the first shot when I lost my tracks. It looked pretty obvious that he was hacking. I played over 1000 battles and I approve this. Also, when he killed me I was behind a building, it was an impossible shot.
So I ask the mods look into his account or watch him or something. Thanks. If you need more detail, I will try to explain more in more specific details.
Also, sorry if I posted this in the wrong forums.. Im kind of fairly new to this game. Only played it for a month and this is my first post. And the other time I caught someone hacking was a long time ago. I just wanted to report this this time because I dont want hacking in this lovely game out of hand. It needs to be stopped right away before it spreads like a virus, if you guys know what I mean. Thanks!
Tanitha: You can look up the players stats in game yourself, I'm sure you
wont see anything abnormal there.
But for next time, you know you can easily record the whole game? there is a playback/record setting there which will make a 1meg file that others can use to replay your whole game.
That makes it easier for everyone to see exactly what happened. Have a play with it, its a hot new feature!.
As for "I wasn't spotted"
Scouts and TD's which have 100% crews, with 100% camo, and a camo net, in a bush, who aren't firing.
more than likely they can see you, even if you cant see them.
They usually don't fire at you, they do their job, spot you, stay hidden, and wait for the arty to kill you.
They gain 1/2 the exp from the damage you take, for doing the spotting.
