No, there is no known login issues, except if the server is down, (it will currently say bad password when its down).

You need to make a copy of the 7.0 client, and then install the two 7.1+ patches over one of the copies IE the copy you call WotldofTanksTEST for example.

best to download large files with a file manager to prevent these
issues.
A common one the players often use is Jdownloader which can be downloaded from jdownloader.org (NOT from jdownloader.com)
Then install the two patches over a "copy" of the release client.
