Exp makes no sense

Tanitha: Game 1, you did nothing except spot 4 tanks and die.
Game 2, you spotted, which enabled your arty and perhaps other tanks, to shoot over your shoulder doing damage for your team. (killing 1 tank)
If you spot while other tanks shoot over your shoulder, you get 1/2 the exp for the damage they do.
The point of a scout is not to scout then die, = no use to the team at all. (and very little if any exp)
The point of a scout is to light up the enemy while your team kills them. (1/2 the exp of the shooter)
