war-gaming.
It will vary a lot, depending on which bank does what processing.
Banks wont do any conversions without making a small cut/profit out of it.
There is a real rate.
A rate for selling notes.
A rate for buying notes.
A rate for electronic transfers buying.
A rate for electronic transfers selling.
Etc ETc.. for each bank / banking system..
Some even charge $5 for each foreign currency transactions on top..
