I went to buy gold with my debit card and it worked. Great. Tried again with the exact same info and it didn't work (I know it was the same info because it was saved). Declined. Tried again with a credit card, decline. Tried again with paypal using my credit card, declined. Tried again with Paypal using money from my paypal account, declined.
So I clicked the message to contact Payscale. Here is the length of their customer service.
#1: You are doing something wrong but we are not ALLOWED to tell you what you are doing wrong so just keep trying.
When I contacted them again:
#2: You are doing something wrong but we are not allowed to tell you what you are doing wrong but because you've tried and were declined so many times you must wait 7 days before trying again. If you try again before those 7 days it will reset the 7 day counter.
Granted those are the cliff note version of what they said.
