About Championships:
Do you plan to make fully automatized tournaments? Without any developers involved. Players could register by themselves; match table is being made automatically.
In immediate future new functions would allow us to do so. But we will still use people to control the process.
There are many players who do not want to play in clans for different reasons. Do you plan to make tournaments of 1 vs. 1 or 3 vs. 3?
Yes, but we are limited by current functionality. Manual creation of such things is nearly impossible. But we will definitely make such tournaments.
Do you consider cooperation with different online leagues? So that they would be able to make tournaments in your game under their own banner, like ESL?
Yes, for example Ural Steel is done in cooperation with FCS (Federation of Cyber Sport).
Does administration support initiative from players’ clans that would like to make their own tournaments? Any rewards, support? For example The RED tournaments?
Yes. Please contact our community manager (contact Mediahead - Tanitha). We are interested in players’ tournaments and will definitely support them.
Do you consider an option of LAN-tournaments? It can help to make the game more popular.
For sure. Finals of Ural Steel would be done under LAN format.
Will you bring more publicity to the tournaments? On thematic sites for example.

Do you plan to make regular reports of Clan Wars including battles and changes on the global map? We would like to get fresh information.

Usually online projects cooperate with such companies for making common events. We plan something similar for Ural Steel finals, but cannot speak about details for now.

Not for immediate future.
What kind of contests can we expect?
Yes, there will be contests, and not only about ingame heroic deeds.
Can user contests get any support from administration?

Yes, Ural Steel finals would be translated in online mode. We will continue to evolve such features.
Does stationary tank visibility bonus apply immediately after stopping or the same as with camouflage net – after some time?
Immediately after stopping.
Will you consider general changing of cannon accuracy in order to make them less precise?
No.
When will you fix BL-10? I hit dealing 0 damage, detrack enemy tanks dealing 0 damage, I always hit tracks, I hit frontal armor and detrack the enemy dealing 0 damage, my shells vanish.
BL-10 is alright.
Is penetration dependent on crew skills? I.e. does crew skill affect 25% random for penetration?
No.
Do you plan to REMOVE friendly fire so that we cannot damage our friendlies?
No. That’s one of our game specialties making it different from just arcade.
When do you plan to change King Tiger’s top cannon so that 8.8 and 10.5 cannons look different?
In patch 0.6.4.
Will you remove the condition to kill premium tanks in order to get Expert achievement?
It was removed long time ago.
What is approximate size of patch 0.6.4.?
800 MB, maybe even more.

Not known for now.
Shall we expect full rebalance and change of parametres for 5-7th tier SPGs after you implement 8th tier SPGs?
You should expect certain rebalance.
You add more checkpoints for tank’s visibility model – does it mean tanks would become more detectable or visible? How will it affect camouflage?
It will decrease amount of cases when tanks suddenly become invisible.
You change credits and gold first aids, repair kits and fire extinguishers – do you plan to add 4th slot for them now?
No.
You add basics for moving destroyed tank wrecks – can you tell us more about it? How does it work, what are the effects?
It’s simple – you can move destroyed tank wreck. You cannot throw it down from the cliff. You cannot move functional tank. Speed of pushing is dependant on both tank weights and engine power of pushing tank.
You add an option to remove previously non-dismountable equipment for 10 gold – will this equipment remain at depot?
Yes.
We hear many rumours about changes in current US lines. Is it true? If yes, what will be changed?
There will be changes, but it is still too soon to speak about it. Watch out for news.
What will be added after US TDs? E-series or French tanks?
E-series.
E-50 will be 8th tier medium tank and E-75 and E-100 – heavy tanks?
E-50 will be medium tank, E-75 and E-100 – heavy tanks. No more comments for now.
Does ventilation grant bonuses to crew perks or just to basic skill?
To both.
Is there hope for visibility reaching farther than 500 meters?
It is possible, but for now we have serious engine limitation.
Do you plan to improve chat functionality? Chat divisions, better navigation etc.?
Definitely.
Do you consider possibility of French tanks possibly appearing after British ones?
No.
Do you plan to add double credits for the first victory as you did for double experience?
No.
Do you plan to reevaluate free experience conversion ratio?
No.
When will you add service of migration to EU server?
Not soon. First we must improve server architecture. We also won’t be able to guarantee your name will remain the same and you will also lose social relations – friends/ignore lists, clan etc.
After patch 0.6.4. is implemented with its ability to move wrecks, can we expect Himmelsdorf to return to Clan Wars?
We must test it first – we have suspicions that northern base can still be blocked even after patch.

Will you add alternative line of German TDs altogether or gradually?
They will come altogether.
When will you add intermediate and alternative tank lines?
Over time. We will provide information when it is ready.
Will we lose modules we cannot demount if we play historical battles or will it be possible to remove them for historical battles?
Historical battles are currently under development; therefore we cannot provide an answer for now.
We can enjoy automatical cannon sounds in sandbox battles now. When will we get similar sounds in other battles? Will we hear epic sound of incoming SPG shell? When will new sounds appear?
Sounds will be added and changed over time.
What kind of new team-based or random modes can we expect for immediate future?
For immediate future – fighting for the one base only and assault/defense mode.
Do you plan to change interface so that we will get real tactical data of the tank, unlike current ideal data?
Yes, it is planned
Can you add screenshots folder to the client so that screenshots will be saved there? It will be much more comfortable.
We do not plan to do that yet.
Why APCR shell for D54T cannon is more powerful than shells from the top cannons of Panther II and Pershing?
T-54 has better penetration, while Panther II and Pershing deal more damage per hit.
Knocked-out crew member gains only 50% experience after battle. What will happen if I’d heal him up with first aid kit before the end of battle?
He will get 100% experience.
Do you consider an option to exchange experience to free experience without using gold? For example 1:10 ratio?
No.

They will work both. It will be changed though.

Not for now.
I have read about removal of shaking effects while firing, being hit or stopping. Is it true? Is it needed?
Shaking is being done on a client; therefore it can be changed by user himself, which was already done by certain not honest people. It is quite hard to protect against such a change, so we decided to make it legal for all players by making ingame option to turn off shaking.

Speed changes do not affect directly, but stationary tank is being spotted with the same or lower chance than moving one.

Not planned.
Will you grant 8th tier T23 cannon of 8th tier tank 90 mm T15E2M2, exchanging it for, let’s say, reduction of durability to 1250–1360 for different turret variants?
Not planned for now.
Developers plan include „Gold transfer between players“. Can you tell us more? Will there be any commission? Will this feature be included in game interface?
It is under development now.
Will 8th tier Premium tanks have the same quotient of rentability as current premium tanks of 5th tiers?
Different one.
IS-4 engine has 15% chance to catch fire. Gold fire extinguisher reduces chance to catch fire by 10%. Does it mean the chance is 15% – 10% = 5% or is it 15% * 0.9 = 13.5%?

Do you plan to add upgrades for 10th tier tanks?
Not planned.
Can you provide us at least some information about Japanese tanks? What will be their unique spot?

Why did you reduce rate of fire for T29 cannon?

Historical battles with historical tanks. How much history will be there?
There would be limits in tanks being used, modules used on these tanks (i.e. vehicles configuration would be limited) and amount of tanks.
You mentioned US light tank MTLS-1G14 for box version. Now it’s heavy US tank M6A2E1. Will you add light tank in time?
MTLS-1G14 will appear ingame, after some time. M6A2E1 is not box tank; it is special event tank, the same as A-32 and Pz V/IV.
Why in reality T29 has 178 mm of front turret armor, while ingame it has 279 mm that makes it nearly impenetrable by any cannon?
Armor is different on different parts. At some parts it is thicker; at some it is thinner. We used historical data for creating models armor parts.
What is aiming time?
Amount of time during which maximum dispersion is being decreased 3x.
Will E-series be implemented before French tanks?
Yes, before French tanks.
Do you plan to limit amount of user changes for the client, for example by checking game files CRC?
Yes. But we will leave certain modifications to be allowed, for example tank skins.
What does hint tip mean: „Not all special skills are available for every crew member“? Is it hint about future crew skills?
Yes, it is for them.
