If another clan can steal a member with a pm, then they weren't really part of the original clan anyway, didn't feel at home, had no loyalty etc..
Clan members aren't something that a clan leader owns. They are free to go anywhere they like.. If you don't make them feel welcome, and at home in your clan, they will move to another clan.. with or without a invite being pmed to them....
