thread, it was probably yours.
OK, look at this forum and you will see threads pop up all over about matchmaking.
There can be some helpful discussions, then a mod moves them to the so-called matchmaking thread.

There's one problem. The matchmaking thread is in "Technical Support and Bug Reporting" under "In-Game Bug Reporting".

No idea, yesterday there was about 4 new matchmaking threads started. I looked for the official matchmaking thread, couldn't find it. So I made one in the general discussion section, stickied it, and then merged the matchmaking threads into there.
Today when i was cleaning the support sections, i found the matchmaking thread that i was looking for yesterday. and thought, oh there it is, whats it doing here? whatever... And i merged the new matchmaking thread I made into the existing one.
1. Is it regarded as bugged? 2. What's more it's titled 0.6.2.7, yet we're on a different patch. Sure, the MM might not of changed, but most people looking at the forum would think to match the current version with a thread.
1. Some people think so. But either way it can always use tweaking each patch, and it usually is tweaked each patch.
2. Yeah, Not much difference, but I'll probably rename it or just remove the version number from it.
WHY is this thread here? Have a look at how many pop up in the game discussion. It is a hot topic, yet all the discussion gets moved to a place most people would never think to look for it (hence the new topics on it every day).

No they usually dont get moved to somewhere people would never think to look, Id bet most get dumped to the junkyard instead, for repeat topics.
I've asked for it to be linked to the "Most popular and valuable discussions" thread. No response. I've asked for it to be a sticky along with the 'visibility' and 'tracking' threads. No response.

As for the most popular discussions thread, its from august, so im not sure its even up to date, it was made by another mod, so i don't have much to do with it. But I notice you replied to it asking for the matchmaking thread to be added, you would be better sending a pm than replying to a 4 month old thread.
So, here are my questions:
Is there a sensible reason why this topic that appears so frequently in the game discussion area is shunted to somewhere nobody would expect to find it? Can somebody DO something about it?
I don't know why its there, there's no reason why it cant be there, but i think it would be better in general discussion like you suggested, like the official tracking and spotting threads I made there.. Sure, I'll move it, rename it, sticky it, etc etc..
One might start to think it's almost as though it's a topic some people might prefer not to be discussed at all.
Nah its the topic we/I don't want 10000 new separate threads on, but like spotting, arty, tracking, etc etc you are welcome to one thread ; )
