Tanitha: Youe previous question was well answered. Looping the question around again wont get you any other or better answers..

I don't like this response because it works against Wargaming's interests, and it is illogical. Seems like you are just playing devil's advocate because:
1) If you have only one tank and it is a T10 you're going to have trouble affording to play it. Even with premium it's going to be a chore.
2) Wargaming has less interest in you spending a chunk of money early, then nothing from that point, then you getting bored with your one single tank and quitting playing.
3) Wargaming benefits from you having more tanks in your stable, so they're going to actively look for ways to make that desirable.
In essence, it is hypocritical to on one hand say "Wargaming should push everyone to be in Tier 10!" but then disagree that "Wargaming should push everyone to have more than one tank".
2.
After a month or two you know the T5 won't appear in clan wars battles. We have seen the future and it is T9+ battles, anything less absolutely need not apply. The window for middle-tier tanks being able to compete in clan wars is so ridiculously tiny it really can't be claimed.
3.
I'll again refer back to the idea that the restrictions only apply to 25 or 30 percent of the territories. Assume 25%... does this -really- offend any T10 players? Don't you think there is business value in getting people involved and engrossed in clan wars earlier, without them getting rejected back into the ocean 22 hours after every attempt to take a starting province with their Tigers and ISes and Shermans?
4.
The VK3601 driver of today is potentially the Maus driver of the future, IF he doesn't get bored or frustrated before getting there. I think you and perhaps Wargaming seriously overestimate how many people are going to bother with clan wars when they come face to face with the fact that "high tier = winner" and there is nothing else to be done with their favorite tank of the war.

Tanitha: Very nice post morrigan, and you were correct, I was just playing devils advocate.

Quote In common parlance, a devil's advocate is someone who, given a certain argument, takes a position he or she does not necessarily agree with, just for the sake of argument. In taking such position, the individual taking on the devil's advocate role seeks to engage others in an argumentative discussion process. The purpose of such process is typically to test the quality of the original argument and identify weaknesses in its structure, and to use such information to either improve or abandon the original.. etc..

Tanitha: 1.1
Sure, I have many tanks at the moment that I like playing, T10 heavies, T9 mediums, T2 lights, etc. Before the T8/9 mediums, i was also playing the lights for grinding like the leopard. But for me its usually my small tanks are too small for clanwars, and my big tanks are T9-10. I don't usually play the middle tanks much, because I have the bigger tanks.
1.2/1.3
Sure..
2.
With no tier limits sure, and probably a lot less than 2 months. I was referring to the map Arctander2 originally posted, when I referred to T5's.
3.
I agree, and always have done, that clanwars should be available in a limited situation for casual players, new players etc etc.. 25% available with limits would be reasonable to me.
Etc Etc...
Another few problems with the tiered split-up map from Arctander2 is artillery.
Having tier 6 arty (S51) up against T6 tanks, due to the T6 limit, is a bit of a mess.
Similarly
Having tier 8 arty up against T8 tanks, due to the T8 limit, is a bit of a mess.
T8 arty is pretty OP, and there to take out the T10 tanks, occasionally in one shot.
I do prefer the 2nd of the tier maps posted. 6,8,10 is better imo. Except the arty problem above.

And mainly....
The euro map is for all three servers initially. There is 1 million players on the Russian server, so there isn't much land really. I really don't think there is enough land to start splitting it up into tiers. So I think it might be better to leave the euro map as untiered and for the world map thats coming next, to have that tiered instead..
Places like Africa could be low earning land for the euro timezone (IE starter/casual players), South America for the NA timezone/server, Asia for the Russian timezone/server. etc..
I think it would work better on a world map, on clan wars full release, than on the smaller euro beta map, especially since 1 mil will play on this map on the russian server.
