Tanitha: Nice map..
Um..
So if i be a good little WOT customer. And on release I buy a premium tank, and grind up on it a lot. To earn a lot of exp on it. Then i pay $50 to transfer that exp to free exp and go straight into a heavy like a IS, Then grind up into a IS7, paying another $50 for gold to convert to credits, because the big tanks cost a lot of credits and grinding the credits is slower.
So, end result I end up in a IS7 quickly, and have donated to WOT for the privilege of getting the T10 tank quicker instead of spending a month or two grinding it slowly. So now i can relax on the grinding and settle back down into a casual play style, concentrating on clan-wars.
But now you are telling me I cant play? Because my is7 is not allowed onto the landing zones?... And for 90% of the map i'm not allowed to fight in those battles either?
Or if i do want to play, i have to buy a lot more tanks in different levels, and hop into tanks like a T5 and leave my IS7 in the garage gathering dust?
I do appreciate your suggestions, ideas, and the work your doing on the map. And i +1'ed you for it : )
But.. I'm not going to level up into T10 tanks, if I cant use them in 90% of the battles.
And if I'm not going into a T10 tank, then its a lot of of gold I wouldn't spend to get those tanks quickly.
I believe this would be the case for most others too.
Free to play micro transaction games, are usually designed around 90% of the money earned comes from 10% of the player base.
At the moment everyone with a T5+ tank can play clan-wars, sure the bigger the tank the better they can compete. And sure most players want as much clan-wars as they can get, for free, without playing a cent, because 85% of players of "general" ftp games don't pay. The paying customer base is usually small. But if you start excluding the paying players from clan-wars, IE the people who wish to grind up larger tanks and keep premium etc etc. Then you will probably just reduce or delete the paying player-base from the game.
Telling T10 tank owners they cant play their T10 tanks and they have to play T5's so the casual non paying customers can compete against them better, just ain't going to work financially imo..
