Can you get suspended for 1 TK by mistake?

As far as I know the people responsible for handing out bans need 3 reports (or 3 reported TKs?) before punishing anyone.

Tanitha: The opening poster stated he was banned for 1 TK, did you read the op? or did you just smash the reply button with your head and then smash random keys that resembled a sentence?
Intentional TK's that are reported, result in bans. That's ONE TK not three by the way. The more Tk's the higher the ban. Up to a perma ban eventually.

Tanitha: You can expect a highly trained team of nice guys that work 24/7 to do the investigation.
I would bet that if I checked how many times you had used support, or been banned by support the results would be zero. Right?
Assuming support isn't very good because its a micro-transaction game, is a pretty silly presumption. I know otherwise..

If there is one part of a company that needs to strive for 110% accountability, it is customer service. If they are going to adopt an absolute no tolerance, no excuses policy governed by one person sending in one report they need to get rid of friendly fire all together.

Tanitha: And again. Moderators/GMs/whoever? So you have no idea about who even does what?
No... Moderators and GM's have nothing to do with Tk bans.
A 24/7 team of about 7 support staff handle the Tk's.
Mods/Gm's handle the forums and chat in game.
As for the op.
If you kill someone, and they screen-shot it with your name in big letters on their screen saying you kill them.. Some of those will go writing a page full of whining to support saying how they are quitting cause big bullies keep kicking sand in their face while they are trying to show their big sister how to play and how they are both quitting now and crying. It obviously was intentional cause I was just camping under the tree while watching tv, minding my own business then BOOM.. Etc.. Etc. Cry Cry.. So it can be hard for support sometimes to work out what's transpired.
Or.. There was more to the OP's story than was told..
Or.. The new rules, introduced on the 27th January for Open Beta.

Quote 6.02. Only intentional team-kills or friendly-fire damage will be considered. It is the victim's responsibility to provide sufficient screen-shots to substantially prove that the damage or kill was not accidental. For example, if according to the screen shots provided, it is evident that a team kill took place in the first 45 seconds or there are no enemy players around, it is likely intentional. However, if the team kill took when there are both enemy and allied vehicles around, the whole situation is considered vague, and further research is needed to try and prove that the team kill was intentional.

Tanitha: Might not have filtered through to all the support staff yet. Your post was on the 27th/28th. Maybe your ban was placed before the rule changes.
But all in all, probably a whining complaint report, before the new rules took effect. If that's the case it was bad luck and bad timing.
Have fun..
Tan..
