Server Split - Auto Ban System

Tanitha: I don't think sharing accounts is a problem, There is rules saying the account holder is responsible for the account. So if your "little brother" or "child" hops onto your account and starts Tking people. Your account will be banned as per normal. The account holder is responsible for what happens on their account.

Edit: On same US NA server, I mean.

Tanitha: There is no checking for Multi accounts for IP's etc at the moment. The only time I've seen the above is when a player is banned from chat or banned from the forums, and then they hop onto the other account to continue offending, or to dispute the ban. In which case the multi accounts are then banned too for the same reasons and durations.
But there is obviously no problems with a husband, wife, and kid, having three accounts running from the same IP.
Or a player playing from their home computer and IP and also playing from their work computer and IP.

For example, my brother is here on leave from the military and he also plays World of Tanks. Does that mean he can't login on my computer and play his account?
If this is the case, I think this is a really bad idea. I have a laptop that I play on when I'm not home.
I run a clan for World of Tanks and it would be extremely detrimental to the functionality of my clan were I not able to interact with them in game while away from my desktop.

Tanitha: As above, and as below.

Tanitha: Switching servers is not possible after the OP happens. Unless you want to make a new account and start again.
Before the above happens you can switch servers (if you are on the wrong server) By downloading the correct client for the server you wish to play on. Each wot website (not forum) has its own client available for download in the download section.
**************
Just to explain the above again, when the initial server split happened on the 17th Jan. The players ended up with two accounts exactly the same, one on each server. The above is a system to ban the accounts that are on the other server, IE on the server you aren't playing on.
Unfortunately, some players are still on the wrong server and Some have both the NA and Euro clients loaded and are flicking back and forth between servers on the same account.
So the above was a simple warning to these players, to get on and stay on the right servers. Or they might end up getting the account they didn't want banned, banned.
Example...
USA player, on the USA server. Downloads and installs the Europe client.
The above system gets switched on.
The player then loads the euro client to talk to a friend on the euro server.
The system bans their USA account, because they logged into the euro server.
The player now can either stay on the euro server, or make a new/empty account on the usa server.
The original warning, was simply, get on, and stay on the right server and dont flick back and forth, or it could create problems for you when the above is switched on.
Regards.
