Clans and ClanWars

Tanitha: Hi Morrigan, I'm not trying to make anything better, or justify
anything, or rationalize anything. I'm just player looking forward
to clan wars, like many many other players. When i post things
like, it looks like clanwars will be like this, and people don't
like that aspect of clanwars, I get neg rep, its as if I'm a dev
and i made the game like that.. lol, its frustrating : )
Its like if i said the sky is blue, Someone will think oh id prefer the sky to be purple, so I'll Neg Rep you, like I was the one who made the sky blue. I just said it was blue, I didn't make it that way. But then again its always been like this. that's where the saying comes from, "Don't shoot the messenger" Hes just carrying the message, he didn't write the contents of the message.. Anyway enough off-topic whining about the - rep I got from someone. Hahaha, and back onto topic..
A couple of comment (not answers) to your post.
There is a ton of cool-downs in the rules, Have a read of them and see if you can get a clear picture of how these cool-downs will effect game play. It might limit players or players tanks that they can reuse, and how often they can be re-used. To be honest its a bit hard for me to understand how those rules will work, without seeing it in game.
But either way, I doubt clans will be made up of 100 players who have no life and top tanks. I'm not sure if you remember or not , but i tried to make a clan in such format. http://forum.worldof...insomniax-clan/ It was apparent from my recruiting there, that not many hard core players existed within WOT, and that the majority of players are casual players. The end result of my efforts to create a no-lifer elite clan, was I got about 10 players who matched that description, not enough for clan wars, So i ended up closing and merging those players into another clan.
MMORPG's that are renown for requiring a lot of grinding, seem to attract a lot more hard core players. In darkfall for example, we ran with a clan of 500 hard core players. When we moved to flatten another clan it looked like this.. Unfortunately there is no vids of the battles themselves, that many players fighting in the same area lagged the servers to only a few frames per second.
However, it still didn't take that long for the server to ally up, to retaliate and take us down, after a loss or two our clan numbers dropped, and we had to merge to regain the same power level again. Clans were constantly falling, rising, merging and changing. And so were the alliances.
Anyway,,, the point being.. Darkfall was easy to gain 500 high quality players into a clan, even then it wasn't unstoppable, smaller clans allied up. WOT to me seems to be full of more casual players. FPS type games are designed that way, log in have a game or two, log out. MMORPGS are designed for 24/7 grinds to get ahead and stay ahead. I don't think the game will be full of clans with 100 players with top tanks, but instead smaller clans allied together.
