What open beta means for you.

Not much really.Beta continues as normal.
No wipes are planned. (Except the full wipe on release)
PR (promotion of the game) will increase, promotion was limited before because the servers were limited to about 15k total. Now the US server alone can handle about 75k total. So lots of advertising and lots of new players will be coming.
No more keys needed to open a new account.
The rules have all changed, a few new ones there now. Have a read through the new forum and game rules.
Server split, and new forums. (already here)
Gold will increase to 250 a day, instead of the usual 150 a day.
Open beta is due 27th Jan. This will also be the day your non selected server (from the server split) will be banned, so please get settled on a server before then.
New stuff will continue to be added, in a progression to release, as normal...
Clan wars beta, is probably the next big step. The French tank tree is coming closer too, not to mention more German, Russian and American tanks. Finally the Assault and Dominion game modes should make release as well! To name a few things expected for Q1:Basic French tech tree.
US tank destroyers line.
Tier 8 SPGs for all factions.
Transition tanks: Pz38 NA, KV-13
Premium tanks: KV-5, Lowe.
Release is "due" for about end of February, release means a full wipe, no more free gold, and a clean start for everyone.
I hope that clears most things up, but feel free to ask any questions.
Important Information
On the swap over to Open Beta (27th January 2011) or shortly before then the server split Auto-Ban system for double accounts will be activated. It is therefore important that you only log to the account into the server which you intend on staying on, and do not swap from one server to another. This will help ensure that the system keeps the correct account open and active.
If you wish to play both servers, you may make a NEW account on the other server (The rules now allow one account per server) please download the appropriate client for your second account. USA Client Link. Euro client Link and make sure you install it to a different place and don't get the two clients mixed up.
More info will probably be announced shortly, this is just an un-official post to give you some advanced warning.
